Surrender
It’s sunny outside. From my porch, I can see a cardinal playing on the neighbor’s roof. Feeling the breeze on my skin and listening to sound of it brush past my ears as the sun warms my body through a ragged shirt and torn jearns is probably the best moment I’ve had in a week. So if you live in Brooklyn right now, leave your house immediately and walk around aimlessly. Visit a thrift shop. Go get a cup of something hot from somewhere you’ve never gotten a cup of something hot before. And just exist.
