Is the power of a euphemism proportional to its multiplicity of meanings?

I learned today to place more trust in my compatriots in code, not only within the office but also around the world. One of the things my Capoeira instructor reminds me of constantly is that I must first look with my eyes and hear with my ears before I come to conclusions. It’s a good lesson to learn and an especially important one when developing software in a collaborative environment, because when you have preconceived notions of what is “correct” code, it is easily possible to come to incorrect assumptions about another person’s work.

P.S. A relaxed coder is a productive coder. If that means walking the dog a couple of times over the weekend, so be it. He he he.
